What's a "Bargain Book?"

Find out how we can offer brand new books at used book prices

Bargain books, also known as "Remainders," are an important part of the book industry. After a book has been for sale for a while, bookstores are allowed to return their unsold copies back to the publisher for credit.

The publisher then marks the book as a "remainder," by putting a little mark on the bottom of the book. Once a book has been remaindered, it's sold to small local bookshops like yours truly at a heavily discounted rate, which we can then pass on to our customers!

Not a fan of remainder marks, or can't wait that long for your new releases? No problem! We also carry the hottest new releases in every genre at list price.
